Some things I forgot...

I meant for these to go with yesterday's post. Oops.

While we were on vacation...we visited STARBUCKS as often as we could without feeling guilty! The Prince saw these chocolate glazed doughnuts and had to have one (well, me too), but I laughed out loud at the thing next to it. Some things just lose their appeal in the translation.

Everywhere you go, "Hello Kitty" is there. It's the rage...even for big girls. I can tell you that I've never really been a "Name Brand" kind of girl, so nothing has changed there. I haven't started wearing HKitty jewelry and clothing. Even the Princess thinks she's too old for it. Sigh. But she DID love the flower arrangements. It was even her idea to take the picture. :) Notice the price tag on that puppy...HK dollars, of course.

And last, but not least...this is a store in a mall in HK. It has a GIANT (in case you couldn't tell) Dumpling and spoon as part of the decor. You actually go inside the dumpling and there are shelves of funky looking (did I say that?) clothing. Perfect. They go together. The clothing on the mannequinns was fine, but inside was rather interesting...definitely for a younger genreation. I'm showing my age. I laughed out loud. I've never seen anything like it. Have you?

I just sent the "Ugly Coffee Dome" picture to a few of my friends - I've seen my fair share of signage, but that tops them all!

Hello Kitty flowers!? Never seen that one yet...but really cute!
