Home sweet home.
We all said it.
I cannot wait to be home.
Strange, but good to hear. 9 months came and went during our travels and although all was FABULOUS, we're glad to be home.
Thanks for your patience and for checking on us while we were gone. I have MUCH to share and I cannot wait...but duty calls. My family needs laundry done and meals cooked(I haven't cooked in two weeks...it's been GREAT!) and order to our out-of-order lives.
If you've emailed...I received it, but haven't had time to respond. I will. Hang in there. My computer is alive, but everything (programs) has to be put back on it. Some things were lost, but many files were saved. Who knows what they were/are...yet. The file is there without a name. I'll be spending some time looking through it all. Just thankful to have it.
Did I say it's good to be home? Well, it is. I've missed you, friends and family.
My precious FIL had a birthday while we were gone. A big one. Can I say 65 and still remain in good graces? We'll see. Love and miss you very much. But I see you or traces of you often...in your son...and grandson. Probably more than I ever realized.

So glad you made it home! Did you happen to get to see the eclipse today?
I don't know what I was doing the other day but I got to thinking about the dance you, me and Shelly made up for cheerleader try outs. That was so fun AND funny! oh the "big" worries we had back in the day!
