An update...

Did I ever tell you that we did sell our house?...to some dear friends. What a blessing. The last house we sold...we had slowly refinished everything inside (well, almost) including some new appliances. Then we moved...and we found out the new owners tore out most of what we had done (i.e. the "less than a month old" wallpaper in the Master bath that I adored!) It made me sort of sad. ANYWAY, I know that the new owners of this house WILL have to change things because they have 2 boys and we had a definite PRINCESS room, but...whatever they do, my heart's cry is that they carry on the legacy we began. When the Lord blessed us with building that house, we dedicated every aspect back to Him. We wrote scripture on every wall before they textured. We tried to use it to honor Him. I think we did. We invited people to come away from their busy lives for a respite (we even had a few of them work on parts of the house with us!) We loved that house, the land it was on and where it was located. We were blessed, indeed. Who knows? Maybe we'll stay with THEM when we come back to the states. That would be amazing...to be the receiver of the blessing we dreamed of bestowing on others as we built it in the first place. The Lord willing...
