My God...

I am out of pocket and have absolutely no pictures to upload, so I went to the My Pictures on this computer and took a "Sample." I figure you're tired of reading my stuff with nothing to look at. :)
I've taught my children to sing the song, "My God is so big, so strong and so mighty. There's nothing my God cannot do," since they were little. But I must admit that at times I forget how big He is. Recently, I had the opportunity to hear several people share their testimony of coming to faith in God. Wow. Unbelievable. It made me take God out of the box. I live in the Bible belt and there are churches on every corner and everyone calls themselves christians, but the truth is (and we all know it eventually) that they're not. We are so far from what He wants from us. Yet, He is ever patient, ever loving, continually drawing us even as we behave as the strong-willed rebellious child. Always wanting our way, never realizing that his ways are so much better if we'll just trust him. I forget and need to be reminded. I have been reminded recently of how big, strong, and mighty my God really is. There's nothing he can't do. PTL!
