Forever friend

This is for my friend, Pandamom. We don't see each other very much these days living 4+ hours apart (don't you miss that 30 min. drive?) but we want to. So....every time we do see each other we take a self-portrait. Some good. Some not so good. These are a few. I happened across them the other day and since I am missing my buddy, thought I'd let her know in a visual way. I'm still aware that you and PP are the direct and sweet answer to a prayer prayed from a lonely MM's wife's heart. We got a double blessing that day 10 years ago that continues on over time and distance. Blessings on you today, my friend. LUVYAMEANIT!

Check her out at www.pandapalooza.blogspot.com and see her new do!

That Panda-Mom is SO good at the self-portrait pictures!!! I love the second one. :) It sounds like you two have a special friendship.

You should have seen me saying "MM" over and over again trying to figure it out. Duh, AJF!!!

Awwwwwe! What a fun treat to pop over and see us! I had to laugh at Ashely because her favorite is the second one....the only one I DIDN'T take! LOL! I know because in my self-portrait pics I have to be on the left to use my left hand on my camera. I think your mom took that one at Mercardo's. I love the last one. WHEN and WHERE was THAT? Thanks for the sweet words. Yes, I do miss that teeny-weeny little 30 minute drive greatly....and to think I thought it was long. Hmph. Have a great weekend, friend. XXOO

People here think a 20-minute drive is a long way to travel...they have NO IDEA (and I don't know if they would survive DFW if that's the case). Is it engagement and all the preparations involved that make me miss home and friends and family more? Who knows why, but I have recently. Your little post, followed with PM's post made me tear up. I've been sorting through pics for what will hopefully be a slideshow, and I came across one from afterprom. Remember? Three of us, bathrom @ MRBC, cheapo-depot lipstick/glittery eyeshadow? Good times...I still think of you when I hear certain songs come on the radio (or when I hear a new duet that would sound quite nice with two certain voices singing together).
