Lest you think I don't need you...

I reread over the post "About the Boarding School" and all of it is true, but maybe I should tell you that tears were streaming down my face the entire time I typed and every time someone asks me how I am...I tear up. Peace does not negate emotion or the sense of loss in my daily life, it just keeps me focused on what's important.

So, lest you think I don't need your prayers, I thought I ought to clarify. I believe any Mom would need support in these transitions, and the rest of the family as well.

Michael O'Brien's new CD has this old hymn that I love and it's done so simply that it allows the word to soak in and is powerful.

Be Still My soul the Lord is on thy side
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain
Leave to thy God to order and provide
In every change he faithful will remain
Be still, my soul, your best, your heavenly friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul, your God will undertake
To guide the future as in ages past
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake,
All now mysterious will be bright at last.
Be still, my soul, the waves and winds still know
The Christ who ruled them while he dwelt below.

Be still, my soul, the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, fear, and grief are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul, when change and tears are past
all safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

This has become one of my absolute favorite hymns in recent years, and we just sang it last Sunday.

Thinking of you and praying for you daily. You're one of my favorite Moms, and you're wonderful as you have been created and in the ways you have led your children so well~

We will be praying for you always!!!I understand how difficult things can be even with God's peace. We have to have those prayers to cover us as well. Know that we will keep lifting you guys (all four of you) up daily.

Friend I am always lifting you up! And I want you to know when I heard from the Prince I knew you did what was best for him. I know this must be hard. When it gets unbearable we will lift your hands up for you. You don't even have to say the word, just know we are!
Love you all-
