Checking in!

Wow! Has it been two weeks? We are doing SO well. We had a great homeschooling conference....learned much and gathered great resources. We spent a week by the beach and all have decent tan lines and now we are at a HUGE conference and we have hugged and been hugged by many. A group from home came over to help with the conference and it is AMAZING how the tears flowed! Happy tears, of course. They came bearing gifts which was great...but the greatest gift was seeing their faces when we walked in the room! Talk about feeling like moviestars!!!! We have limited internet access which is an improvement over no access. That's why we have good tans....no internet. :) I have tons of pics to show later. Check back in a day or two. Love to all.

We're Outta here...

Well....the day is here. We are going to be out of pocket for these conferences and our little vacation. We'll be gone for a while and will hopefully have internet accessibility where we are going. I'll pop in over the next few weeks when I can. I might be pleasantly surprised and have total access. We'll see. Please ask for traveling safety and mercy in the eyes of the airline workers. Grace and favor is always a good thing. I know I'll have MUCH to share along the way. Can't wait!!!!

Confessions of a thief...

Hello, I am the "Queen" and I steal pictures and things from other people's blogs. It has been about a month since I last stole something and confessed it.

These are two of my favorite people in the world at the wedding of the elder one's son. I miss them all and HATE that we missed the wedding. It's a great pic, isn't it? I couldn't help myself. I HAD to have it. Is that what a cleptomaniac feels?

All kidding aside. These two ladies have taught me so much about life and ministering to others. If I wrote a book...it would be a bestseller. Ladies, you are treasured and loved beyond measure.

Small blessings...

We think this is the cutest little thing....The owners of our new apt have a daughter a little older than our Princess and she left this behind for our Princess. It's a headband (note: my Princess isn't wearing it just right in the pics)with a movable visor, sunglasses that flip up and down and a solar powered fan! How's that? The Princess loves it!

Happy Birthday!

Today my nephew (that I haven't seen in 2 years) turns 12. Can it be, Roundhead?

You are more handsome every day...

I pray you keep your tender heart and sensitive spirit... Happy Birthday. Your Aunt Wedgie loves you.

More pics of the apt...

The pic from the last post with "Faith, hope and Love" is over the sliding glass doors that lead into the kitchen.

That cabinet space is deceiving. Two of those have only two inches behind them...but it's better than what I had!

This is the view from the LARGE window. Who wouldn't mind doing dishes when you see that? There are usually several people exercising...and being the people watcher that I am...I am entertained while doing dishes. All the buildings are decoratd with colored lights and at night are lit up. It's exquisite to see!

Pics of the new apartment

This wall cling came in a care package from America...it's the first thing you see from the front door.

These chairs are ALMOST as comfortable as the big blue ones in the old apartment.

View into the dining room (and front door) from the living area.

View towards the balcony...from the bay window that I couldn't take a picture of because of the light. It has a nice window seat where we put our Christmas tree.

The from the balcony...on a cloudy day (I've got sunshine...you knew there was a song coming!).

This swing is bolted to the ground and is very pleasant to sit in. That is when it's not cold..because you can freeze your bottom off...it's metal!

Playing the Wii with Dad...

Fishing...

The Princess was hollering at the screen, "Bite me! Come on Bite me!" We had to have a talk about that inappropriate language. :)

An overnight trip a few weeks ago...

Where's Waldo?

Poor fisherman worked all day and only caught one crab...

Enjoying the view....together...are you kidding me?

Happy New Year!

Well....it's here. For us anyway...for you in about 12 hours. :) Just wanted to post and say thanks for all of your support through this season. We pray your lives are blessed beyond measure. Love...
